For 27 years I was in and out of addiction. I was broken, lost, lonely, and I pain.
I didn't believe in God. Why? Because if he was so loving why was I going through hell? I made fun of those who went to church. I made fun of those who read the Bible. There is no such thing as God.
My second time in jail this year, God found me. I didn't find him. God was never lost I was. When he found me, my entire life changed beyond comprehension. I found peace that I have never know. I treat people better and I have a completely different out look on life.
If you knew me a year ago, you knew a completely different person. Let me re introduce myself.
My name is Nick and I am a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. I am 10 months into my recovery, and I don't plan to return to my old life. I have made mistakes and I was not a good person. I'm not apologizing, be abuse those are just words. My actions will speak louder than any words ever will. Im not asking for forgiveness, but another chance. I figure forgiveness will come with time. My baptism is August 10th 2025. It is my way to recommit my life to Christ. I am not perfect, nor will I ever be. I will stumble and I will make mistakes.
If God can change my life, he can change yours. We all deserve a better and happy life.
I hope everyone has an amazing day.
