Around 8:30 I read this text from my friend E., which she sent around 6:30 this morning.

"Hi David, could you say a few prayers for me? I’m in hospital after being assaulted in a home invasion. I’m pretty beaten up. He told detective that his intention was to kill me."

Please join me in praying for her. She's around my age which is 76. She's a wonderful person. So undeserving of this cruelty.
