THE TWO SIDES OF FAITH
Hebrews 11:32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 11:33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 11:34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 11:35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: 11:36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: 11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; 11:38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
The verses above tell about two different kinds of people who received the same faith but had different experiences.
One group chose to conquer and the other to be conquered.
One chose to be the victor and the other the victim.
One chose to be the slayer and the other the slayed
We can go on and on, the report remains the same - God gives faith, but you decide what you do with it.
Faith will always produce two kinds of people in any subject -
God's part is to drop that seed of faith inside you and your part is to choose what you do with it.
Your Faith can make you rich and it can also make you manage in poverty until death comes knocking.
Your Faith can heal you, and it can also help you manage the sickness until you die.
Your Faith can make you global and it can also make you a local champion.
Make a choice.
