MIRACLE (34) By B.B.John

Let me speak to you on the miracle of multiplication. It's a product of Christ's compassion and supernatural provision. Jesus awesome and can meet your needs in an amazing way. He can bring great multiplicity on the little you have, just as He did to the five loaves and two fishes, by which He fed five thousand men, aside from their wives and children.

All the four gospels recorded the miracle.

All the Bible passages tell us how Jesus was moved with compassion when He saw a great multitude. They had come to Him in the desert to receive healing and deliverance. But by the time the healing crusade was ove, it was already getting late. So, His disciples came to Him and advised that the crowd be sent away into villages to buy food to eat. But Jesus had a better option. He asked Him the twelve disciples to feed the multitudes themselves.

"But Jesus said unto them, they need not depart; give ye them to eat." (Matt. 15: 16)

To the disciples, it looked an impossible task. They checked their food bags and all they had were five loaves and two fishes. They would possibly need six months wages to to feed the five thousand men who had come with their wives and children. So, they told Jesus what they had and He stepped in to save the situation. How? By telling them to bring what they had to Him.

"He said, bring them hither to me." (vs. 18)

This is the first step: take it to Jesus. Multiplication miracle always begins when we take the little we have remained to Him. But lack of faith often makes us to keep to ourselves that which we want Him to multiply for us.

The moment they brought the five loaves and two fishes to Jesus, He commanded the great multitudes to sit down on the green grass in groups.

This is the second step: sit down and watch the Lord Jesus multiplying the stuff you took to Him. This is a rest of faith. Sit down, patiently wait for Him in hope.

Next, Jesus took the loaves and fishes that was brought to Him, looked up to heaven, and blessed the stuff.

This is the third step. Jesus works multiplication miracle by connecting to the Source of all blessings and by blessing that which was brought to Him. When He looked up to the Father, He did not only connect the supernatural; He effected the multiplication of the loaves and fishes in the realm spiritual. Once it's done in the spiritual realm, all that remains is physical manifestation.

Thereafter, Jesus broke the items and gave the broken pieces to the twelve for onward distribution to the multitude. They all ate and were full and there were leftovers of twelve baskets. Those twelve basket of loaves and fishes gathered up as remnants is enough to teach us that Jesus can provide more than our needs. And I have always believed that they were His rewards for the twelve disciples; a basket for a disciple.

The physical manifestation of the multiplication miracle happens when we break and distribute. That's the fourth step. Jesus gives you back what you bring to Him to distribute, not to hoard. Distribute those broken pieces of 'bread and fishes' to the poor and hunger stricken folks, and you will be embarrassed with multiplication.

I believe you've been blessed by this inspiration.
