This was part of ending Sabbath devotions scriptures from Romans and comment by me.
Romans 6:3-8 (KJV) Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
We know that being baptized is a very crucial part of being a Christian, but what a lot of people may not know is that when we are baptized we are dying as Christ died when he was crucified, so when we go under the water we are buried with Christ, and when we come out of the water we are rising just as Christ rose from the dead, and that we die to self and we are crucifying the old man and our flesh and we are rising up to a new life or as a new man. And thats the main reason that we should all be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, with full immersion not sprinkling or a little water poured on our head, because when Christ died he was fully buried in the tomb not a little dirt sprenkled on His head, it was by full immersion just as Christ was baptized by John the baptist Jesus was fully immersed under water. And we are to live by Christ's example not mans example.
