Read: Romans 8:11

If we are Christians, we know that God's Spirit lives in us (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We know we will live forever, at His soon return because the Spirit is with us. God's down payment on our future with Him is the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 1:21-22; 2 Corinthians 5:5). Also, even as we live for Christ now, the Spirit keeps our bodies alive as we use them for God's glory (Romans 12:1).

Prayer

Father, give your Spirit life to my body so that what I do not only brings you glory but also shows off your character and grace. All the glory goes to you, O Father, because your presence and power are at work in me, your child. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
