THEME: DO NOT ALLOW SATAN TO ENTER YOU
TEXT: Luke 22 vs 3
Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
Though Judas was among the twelve disciples it did not stop satan from entering him and using him. Being around spiritual things or people does not stop satan, even prayer can't stop satan from using you. Judas had opened his heart to the enemy because he was a thief.
Judas was the treasurer in Jesus' ministry and used to steal the money. Their was no purity in the life of Judas. A corrupt heart is an open door for satan to enter one's life. A life that does not allow the Holy Spirit and God's word to take total control will a cheap tool for the devil to use.
This is why David prayed that God should create a clean heart in him and renew a right Spirit. When you have a corrupt heart you have a wrong Spirit before God, a wrong spirit attracts evil spirits.When your heart is corrupt God's presence can't abide in you. When heart corrupt darkness has invaded your life.
PRAYER
Lord, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. I allow your word and your Spirit to take total control of my life in Jesus' might name AMEN
