THE GLORY THAT FOLLOWS RISING

Introduction: Rising Precedes Reward
Rising is not easy. It involves cost, confrontation, courage, and sometimes even conflict. But for every believer who dares to arise in faith and obedience, there is glory that follows. God never calls us into difficult places without providing divine backing, heavenly reward, and undeniable honor.
The glory that follows rising is not merely material—it is heaven’s validation, earthly favor, and eternal impact. Just like Joseph moved from the prison to the palace, and David from the cave to the crown, those who rise in obedience will always encounter a divine afterglow—evidence that God was with them all along.
1. Favor: God’s Hand Upon the Risen
When you arise, you activate divine favor. Favor is not luck—it is God leaning toward you. It opens doors your qualifications cannot, and it brings recognition in unlikely places.
Examples:
• Esther found favor before the king (Esther 5:2).
• David found favor even as a shepherd boy (1 Samuel 16:22).
• Mary was highly favored and chosen to carry the Messiah (Luke 1:28).
Insight: Obedience births favor. When you rise in alignment with God's will, favor becomes your atmosphere.
2. Reward: God's Response to Obedience
Hebrews 11:6 reminds us that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Rising when it's hard, unpopular, or dangerous places you in the path of God’s supernatural reward system.
• Joseph was rewarded with rulership.
• Ruth was rewarded with a redeemer.
• The daughters of Zelophehad were rewarded with inheritance.
• Jesus was given a name above every name (Philippians 2:9) after He rose from death and shame.
Your rising is not in vain—it provokes divine recompense.
3. Honor: Heaven's Public Endorsement
When you stand for God in private, He honors you in public. Honor is when Heaven announces you before men. It may come in the form of:
• Recognition
• Influence
• Doors opened without struggle
• Vindication before critics
“Them that honor me I will honor…” — 1 Samuel 2:30
Esther was honored. Daniel was distinguished. David was anointed before his brothers. Jesus was glorified before angels and men. God never forgets those who arise when others shrink.
4. Divine Backing: You Don’t Rise Alone
God never sends you where His presence won’t go with you. When you arise by faith:
• Angels are deployed (Psalm 91:11)
• The Holy Spirit empowers you (Acts 1:8)
• Heaven defends you (Isaiah 54:17)
• Your words carry weight (Jeremiah 1:9–10)
Divine backing turns ordinary people into unstoppable forces. You may look alone, but all of Heaven is behind you.
Prophetic Declaration: When you arise in obedience, Heaven rises with you.
5. Glory: When Rising Meets Purpose
The ultimate glory is when your rising leads you into the center of God's will:
• You fulfill destiny.
• You impact generations.
• You walk in peace, purpose, and power.
This glory shines from within and radiates through your life. People see it. Systems feel it. Hell fears it. Heaven celebrates it.
