MONEY MONDAY
THERE’S A WEALTH TRANSFER COMING. BUT CAN YOU TRULY RECEIVE IT?
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, even to the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased - Daniel 12:4
Knowledge increasing is one of the signs of the last days. Until 1900, human knowledge doubled approximately every century. By 1950, knowledge doubled every twenty-five years. By the year 2000, human knowledge doubled every year. Today, knowledge doubles every day. That’s a lot of knowledge. And as God’s people, we have to keep up with those changes. We’re also in the era of self-learning. Since information increases so rapidly, one cannot wait for a teacher, lecturer, or even a pastor to teach them. You’ll have to be proactive and invest time in teaching yourself through different platforms. Do you know anything about hyperinflation? How much do you know about cryptocurrency? What about Central Bank Digital Currencies? Do you know anything about the Social Credit system? Do you know about investing in gold? What about silver?
The world around us is changing very quickly. It’s no longer enough for a pastor to teach people about sowing and reaping. Seed-faith was introduced to the body of Christ by the late Oral Roberts in the last century. Today’s minister must build on that knowledge and inform his or her congregation about their own day and hour. It’s very likely that we’ll all be tithing and offering using cryptocurrency very soon. More than that, God’s people themselves have to be awake enough to realise that yesterday’s knowledge is not enough to weather today’s storms. It’s important to still tithe and give our offerings. However, we have to respond prophetically to the times we live in. Many Christians believe that as long as they’re reading their Bibles and praying, everything will be alright. It’s important to study the scriptures and to pray, however, it’s important to also recognise the times you live in.
The world is not talking about cryptocurrency, blockchain, and other developments because they’re inherently evil. The Church cannot respond to fintech the way they did to television back in the day. Many in the Church criticised television as a medium, they even called it the devil’s eye. Today, we’ve embraced it and are using it to preach the gospel. If we don’t level up immediately, we’ll be left behind. Yes, some of these developments will be used to persecute God’s people and deprive us of certain privileges. However, we must be clear that some technologies, such as the Internet, are not inherently evil. We can therefore use them to our advantage and prosper. The anointing of God’s Spirit is on certain knowledge currently. God wants to bring about a wealth transfer to His people. However, we’ll have to increase our knowledge base to receive what He has for us at this hour. Just as God will not use seashells to bless His people because it’s an extinct means of exchange, God will not use cash to bless His people because it’s about to become irrelevant. Time to learn!
CONFESSION
I keep in step with the Spirit and respond prophetically to what God is doing at this hour. I keep up-to-date with changes by constantly upgrading my knowledge base. Glory to God!
