That woman at the well—the Samaritan woman Jesus spoke with—who would have imagined our Holy Savior would engage with her? She’d had five husbands, and the man she lived with wasn’t even her husband. What a messy life! Imagine the insults she must have faced—people probably called her a husband snatcher or even worse, a whore. By moral standards, she was an outcast. Yet, Jesus found her. She didn’t seek Him, but He sought her. She didn’t call for Him, but He went to her. And her testimony alone brought her whole city to Jesus!
Maybe you need to hear this today: you are not beyond God's reach. No matter your past or mistakes, God is willing and eager to welcome you. God doesn't see as people see—He looks beyond your sins and sees your potential. You are not a mistake, and you are loved by God.
