I have been diagnosed over the past few years with things that the medical community says that is irreversible. Death is imminent, no kidding, the Word of God has already made this fact known. So they are just trying to keep me alive, but my faith is in the One that sustains my life and my health.
They think that I'm hardheaded and stubborn when I don't agree with their reports, or that i dont follow their advice. After all, it's all about following the science; right?
No one will ever convince me that the medical community (not all), the insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies are not working hand in hand but for one main reason... GREED.
All of the technology that exists today, we still have incurable diseases. Viruses that stays two steps ahead of a cure.
There is way more money that goes through the hands of the above mentioned to keep us sick, than to treat for healing.
There are very few physicians (Dr Lightfoot being one) that will include the faith and God factor, along with prayer in their treatments.
I would never tell anyone to stop doing what their doctors tell them to do, but I would strongly advise seeking the Father for wisdom and direction through faith. All I can do is share my testimony of what God has done and is doing in my life. Through faith, I beat cancer, a gun shot (for all practical purposes should have killed me), and have been diagnosed with kidney disease and congestive heart failure.
I've been told there is no cure for my situation, they only want to give me a better quality of life. The truth is, Jesus came that I might have life and life more abundant (John 10:10b), there is no drug or treatmentthat can guarantee this fact.
I truly believe after what I've been through, there is nothing that can take me out unless the Father calls me home (or my own stupidity).
The following are scriptures that i stand on by faith:
“He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.” (Psalms 107:20)
“Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise.”
(Jeremiah 17:14)
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
Isaiah 53:5)
“who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”
(I Peter 2:24)
“Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,” (Psalms 103:3)
So, in conclusion; I have puposed in my heart in Whom I shall believe and its in the Word (Which is literally Jesus) over a report of a doctor(s) in whom was taught by another man.
