A former CNN host recently aired an “interview” with an AI-generated video of a deceased person calling for gun control. As a former psychic medium saved by God’s grace, I’m deeply concerned that these AI recreations of the dead could lead to a dangerous trend of digital mediumship.
The enemy is cruel, especially toward the grieving. He often masquerades as deceased loved ones in an attempt to keep people trapped in spiritual deception. These AI-generated videos may become yet another tool he uses to entice people into the condemned practice of attempting to communicate with the dead.
I’ve lost many beloved people in my life, so I understand the deep ache of grief and the longing for closure. But mediumship, whether through traditional or technological means, only leads to spiritual bondage, not peace. It opens the door to demonic influence, not healing.
