One of the fears of the saints why we do not evangelize to the lost are those who are deeply rooted in deceit & too far from orthodoxy. The voice of devils & carnal inclinations tells us that such people are likely to be closed-minded, unwilling to reckon, experienced much in life, prepared to challenge our beliefs that may lead to contention & persecution. Thus we are not hyped, but disheartened about it. We just choose to flee by reason of the difficulty that lies ahead, especially when we think of ourselves lacking in apologetics & spiritual maturity. With all of this in mind, God says otherwise. In the Sacred Texts, God desires all of His people to evangelize to both Jews & Gentiles in all classes, ages, cultures, & status because the gospel is meant for all since all are doomed to die regardless if they believe or disbelieve as long as we have done our best (Sola Gratia) & He will do the rest. Although being spiritually mature & equipped in defending the Christian faith is a big boost in the kingdom of heaven, yet it is not our primary focus to strive for such wisdom & knowledge, especially if that is not your calling. But rather it is the Spirit's indwelling & empowerment is what truly makes the difference. It is the real deal since He gives us power to do what He wills both persistently & successfully! It is this power that mankind cannot generate neither attain to it because it comes from God Himself. It is not earthly, but heavenly which is not our business to fully grasp it but to trust its enablement because God says so. As we trust & obey, we reach new heights like never before! We accomplish tasks for His glory & experience what human skill & talent cannot. Even at times, it exceeds more than what a human being can handle, & funny how we are still sane & stable all because of His grace in spite of sacred manifestations! Furthermore, it is "God that does not call the qualified, but He qualifies the called." The slogan says a lot & packs a punch of whatever falsehood you cling unto.
