Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
—  Galatians 6:9

Thought Of The Day...
It’s not always easy to keep doing good without growing weary. Physical exhaustion, emotional strain, and spiritual fatigue can make us feel ready to give up. The brokenness of our world seems endless—there will always be another hungry person to feed, another patient to fill a newly emptied hospital bed, another healthy person who will fall ill tomorrow. In this fallen world, there will always be people who are hungry, sick, lonely, imprisoned, or in poverty. Wars and rumors of wars will continue to create refugees. These problems will persist until the day Jesus returns.
Yet in the meantime, we are urged, “Do not grow weary in doing good!” It is only in God’s strength that we can press on. While there may be times when we step down from a committee, move on from a ministry, or stop volunteering at a certain place, we must not let our hearts grow weary of serving. Changing roles simply means finding new ways to minister.
Eventually, when we ourselves need to be fed, clothed, and cared for, our service may be as simple as offering a smile, speaking an encouraging word, or whispering a prayer. And in God’s eyes, such ministry may be the most powerful of all. By His grace, may we all one day rejoice to hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant!”

Prayer...
Heavenly Father, In times when we grow weary and feel the weight of discouragement upon our shoulders, we turn to You for strength and guidance. Your Word in Galatians 6:9 reminds us not to lose heart in doing good. Help us, Lord, to embrace this truth and to find renewed energy in our daily efforts. May Your Holy Spirit empower us to press on, even when the journey feels long and the challenges seem insurmountable.

Thank You for the incredible gift of eternal life, a treasure that assures us of our place in Your kingdom. We are grateful for Your unwavering love and the hope it brings. As we strive to make a difference in the lives of those around us, let us be filled with Your compassion and grace. May our actions reflect Your light, inspiring others to seek You too.

Grant us the courage to continue our work, trusting that our labor is not in vain. Surround us with encouragement and remind us of the joy that awaits us in the harvest. We place our trust in Your promises, knowing that with You, all things are possible. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
