TEXT: Hebrews 6 vs 12
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Our making in the Journey of destiny is tired to who we follow. Jesus said to his disciples that if they followed him he would make them fishers of men. There is something you become by who you follow, you can not follow the world and expect to become what God has ordained for you. You can have a devine assignment on your life but you must understand that there are people already who have become what you want to become.
Not every who has achieved what we desire to achieve is worth our following, we follow those who have ordained through faith and patience. Both faith and patience is a fruit of the Spirit. You don't follow a man because they are gifted but because the fruit of Spirit is in them. The fruit is an evidence of their walk with God, the depth and maturity in the Spirit. The character of the Spirit becomes stronger and more evident as you go deep in Spirit. The depth or manifestation of the Spirit because not mean you are walking with God.
It takes faith and patience to obtain the promise, to become what God has ordained. Faith believes that what God has said is true but patience allows God to take you through the process of become what God has ordained for you. It takes patience to be built in Character and other aspects of your life so that you can handles what God desires to do with you.
CONFESSION
My eyes are open to see those who by faith and patience have obtained the promise, that I may pattern my life after them in Jesus' might name AMEN
