1 minute in 1 Timothy 6 Are you in a "good fight"? Paul addresses Timothy with "warfare" type words in 1 Timothy 6:12, "Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses." Do you see yourself as being in a "good fight"? If not, you're likely to wear yourself out! In 1 Corinthians 9:25-26, Paul said in reference to obtaining an "incorruptible" crown, "so fight I, not as one that beateth the air". If our "fight" is so ineffective that we're just beating the air, we're going to wear ourselves out! Paul further exhorts Timothy, in 1 Timothy 6:14 "That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:" So I ask you, Are you in a "good fight"?
