THEME: IMITATE GOD'S BEHAVIOUR
TEXT:John 5 vs19
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
Jesus did not do anything of himself but only that which he saw the father doing. Anything he did not see in the father, he did not do. As child of God you must not do anything you have not seen in God. Anything that does not match the nature and character of God must never be part of your life.
Many are failing to worship and serve him in truth because the are not imitating God's behaviour. They want to do their own thing, not what they see in God. You can't manifest God's behaviour when the source your inspiration is world. Your dressing and hair style is inspired by worldly celebrites, your speech and all that you do is inspired by people of the world. That is wrong you draw your inspiration from God's Spirit and word.
The world has a Spirit that controls them so act and behave in way that is rebellious and disobedient to God. When you imitate the behaviour of the people of this world you make enmity with God. This many wonder why they have no authority and power in God, they pray for many years and it seems God is quiet. It is because their behaviour does not reflect the God they claim to be children of.
You should be an inspiration to the world on how to behave, how you speak and in all you do. That is what it means to be a the light of the world.
CONFESSION
I do nothing of my own except what I see God do. All my thoughts and actions are inspired by God's word and Spirit in Jesus mighty name AMEN
