A deeper explanation of the Lords prayer
Matthew 6:9-13 (KJV) After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
The way this prayer starts is: "Our Father which art in heaven hollowed be thy name"
This is how we should start our prayers all of our prayers no matter what or who we are praying for, because He is our Father which is Holy and Hollowed His name is very Holy above all other names.
"Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven"
Its because what He binds in earth he binds in heaven. And what ever in loose on earth is loose in heaven, so what ever He says in heaven it is loose on earth also.
Matthew 16:19 (KJV) And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
"Give us this day our daily bread"
So as we need to be fed physical food daily we also need to be fed Spiritual food daily, in other words we need to read His word daily to be spiritual fed daily, just as physical food is necessary for physical growth Spiritual food is for our Spiritual growth.
"And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors"
Which means that we should forgive other for hurting, or sinning against us just as God has forgiven us, He always forgives us for our sins as long as we ask Him to, because if we will not forgive others for sinning against us then God will not forgive us for sinning against Him.
Matthew 6:14-15 (KJV) For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
" And lead us not into temptation butt deliver us evil."
So God will not tempt us to do wrong but He will give us a way out and that is by prayer just ask Him to take the temptation away, and He not only take it away but He will hive us a way out and He will deliver us from the temptation, and if we keep denying the sin that is tempting us it will become easier and easier to get through it and to reject and forsake our sins.
" For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever Amen."
And here its say that there is all power in heaven and that God is all powerful and that God will live forever. So I hope this help you see and know the real meaning of The Lords Prayer, because its more then what we read in the Bible its a lot deeper then most people think so I hope this help you out a great deal.
