James 4:5-10 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

Submit yourselves therefore to God, Resist the devil,  and he will flee from you.

Draw nigh to God, and he wlll draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep; let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Proverbs 3:30-35 Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm.

Envy thus not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.

For the froward is abomination to the LORD; but his secret is with the righteous.

The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked; but he blesseth the habitation of the just.

Surely he scorneth the scorners; but he giveth grace unto the lowly.

The wise shall inherit glory; but shame shall be the promotion of fools.

Ephesians 4:20-32 But ye have not so learned Christ;

If so be that ye have learned him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Je'-sus;

That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

And that ye put on the new man; which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour; for we are members one of another.

Be ye angry, and sin not; let not the sun go down upon your wrath;

Neither give place  to the devil.

Let him that stole steal no more; but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger,  and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice;

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Ephesians 6:10-20 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual  wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having your lions girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

Praying always with all  prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

For which I am an ambassador in bonds; that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
