THEME: CALLED TO A LIFE OF PURPOSE
TEXT: Rom.8.28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (NLT)
Everyone on earth has a calling from God this the call to walk in God's purpose for your life. You can't walk in the purpose of God for your life if you do not love God. It is when you love God that his purpose for your life is unveiled to you. To discover God is to discover yourself in God because you are created in the image and likeness of God.
Those who love God have no will of their own, they walk in God's will for their life. Love to God is not an emortion it is death to self; your own desire and ambition. Love to God is submition and obedience to his will for your life. Walking in the will of God is not always pleasurable to the flesh, the flesh loves comfortability but the will of God will lead you to what seems unfavorable for you. If the flesh is always comfortable in what God is leading you to do, it is not God that is leading you.
God causes all things to work in your good only when you are in his purpose whether good or bad. What sustain a man in the will of God is knowing he God loves and he also loves God. When you are outside of God's purpose even what looks to be favourable may turn into your own destruction because it does not have the hand of God in it. In God's will you are invisible, nothing can destroy you. What is a downfall to others is your lifting in God.
CONFESSION
I love God and i am called according to his purpose. Hence, all things are working for my good. What is a downfall for others is my lifting in Jesus mighty name AMEN
