THE ADVENT TRUTH.
It’s amazing how quickly the keyboard Christians come crawling out of the woodwork when you post something reminding people that God still expects obedience to all Ten Commandments—not just the ones that are convenient. The moment you mention the Sabbath, honoring God’s name, or turning from coveting and idolatry, suddenly the comments flood in: “That’s legalism!” … “We’re under grace!” … “The law was nailed to the cross!”
But here’s the truth the Bible never hides: Grace doesn’t erase God’s law—it writes it on our hearts (Hebrews 8:10). Jesus said plainly, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15), and that includes the seventh-day Sabbath that He blessed and sanctified at Creation (Genesis 2:2-3), kept during His life (Luke 4:16), and which His followers honored even after the cross (Acts 13:42, 44).
The Ten Commandments are not suggestions—they are the eternal standard of love toward God and man (Romans 13:8-10). Yet many would rather argue in a comment section than repent and obey. But when the dust settles, God’s Word will remain, and His faithful will be those who “keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12).
The real question isn’t whether God’s law still stands—it’s whether you’ll stand with it.
