Galatians 5:16-26 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one to the other; so that ye cannot do the things that ye should.
But if ye be lead by the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Envying, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsufferings, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance; against such there is no law.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Genesis 6:5-8 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I made them.
But No'-ah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
Genesis 8:20-22 And No'-ah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD, said in his heart I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every living thing, as I have done.
While earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
