The planned meeting between President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday is extremely important—and I ask everyone to pray. Pray for President Trump, that God will guide his thoughts and his words.

I also encourage you to pray for President Putin, that God would open his mind and heart, that he would understand the suffering taking place and that he can bring it to an end.

Let’s pray that the Lord will give all those involved wisdom and urgency to resolve this conflict. Millions of lives are at stake, both in Russia and in Ukraine.
