Good morning everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

Our visit with our extra guest, our son’s mother-in-law, is going quite well. She is noticing how different we are compared to Germany. The first thing is how big everything is. Now, remember that big is not just about size, such as a mole hill to a mountain, but also about space. In Germany, they are big in number, but tight on size. She found that our money is boring…haha….my thoughts as she got it out of the ATM. The euro is a different size and plenty colorful to help distinguish the amount of the bill, ours is all the same and green -haha.

One of the first places we took our son and his wife when they came for the first time was Golden Coral. We did not think much of it at the time; we were actually trying to make it as affordable as possible then. So, why not start her off on the Golden Coral train as well? We were blessed with our favorite server, and we all had a great time.

This is the first big vacation our guest has ever had and why not bring her to a big place right?

Vacation: a place or time of respite (Karalee’s definition)

What if you could enjoy that time of life all the time? What if you could have a place or time of respite every day? It is possible you know.

When you surrender yourself to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, he takes all the downcast off of your shoulders and bears the weight of them. Thus leaving you in a state of respite (relaxation).

Daily I have my morning conversation with Him to prepare for the day. I give thanks for His presence in my life and all that He does for me. Then I give him the day and go about my business. The times that I do not have that relaxation are when I make the choice to take back the burden because either it is not resolving fast enough for me or …. I have decided that I can do it better, or it is too small to bother God with.
Does anyone else have this issue? Nah. It is just me isn’t it?

The peace and love you that you can feel today is like difference between European living to American living. You can keep all your problems bottled up for your suffering. Tight and close. Allow them to continue to build. Continue to press downward on you. To the point where you cannot see anything but your problems … or.
Or, you can throw them up to the Father and enjoy His never-ending and unsurmountable peace and love. You can have this every day if you choose. All you have to do is choose to let Him take on your burdens … then you take on his. His are much lighter and easier for us to bear.

Why not take today and make the choice to cast off your cares to Him and start enjoying His presence and peace? The difference is the same as going from a one room studio apartment to a castle built for a King.

Be blessed today my friends.
