Every athlete runs in order to win a prize. Such is the life of a Christian we are running the race to win the eternal prize

But this prize cannot be attain without self-discipline, we must not give room to any indulgence that will make us miss the mark.

For we know God created us and we are meant to live for his glory, anything outside of this, that makes us not to do the will of the master shows we are already missing the mark.

The bible says what shall it profit a man who gains the whole world and loses his soul?

I pray that your labour on this earth will not be in vain, every struggle against the works of the flesh is here by defeated, the resurrection power that you need to function effectively for his glory is here by released, you shall be a vessel of honour in the name of Jesus.
