THE ADVENT TRUTH.

People say Sunday is “the Lord’s Day.” But here’s the challenge: show me ONE Bible verse that ever calls Sunday “the Lord’s Day.” Spoiler: you won’t find it. From Genesis to Revelation, the only day God ever blessed, sanctified, and claimed as His own is the seventh day Sabbath (Genesis 2:2–3; Exodus 20:8–11; Isaiah 58:13; Mark 2:27–28).

John wrote, “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day” (Revelation 1:10). But he never said it was Sunday. Jesus already told us which day belongs to Him: “The Son of Man is Lord also of the Sabbath” (Mark 2:28). That’s Scripture interpreting Scripture. The so-called “Lord’s Day” of Sunday is a man-made tradition, not a command from God.

So here’s the challenge: find me a single text calling Sunday the Lord’s Day. Until then, I’ll stick with what God actually said.
