*God Confirms His Word*

*Scripture*

> “Then it will be, if they do not believe you, nor heed the message of the first sign, that they may believe the message of the latter sign.”
— Exodus 4:8 (NKJV)

*God Gives Assurance*

When God called Moses to lead Israel out of Egypt, Moses doubted whether the people would believe him. God graciously gave him signs—miracles that would confirm Moses was truly sent by Him. Verse 8 shows God’s patience: even if the people rejected the first sign, He would give another to strengthen their faith.

*This reveals two powerful truths:*

1. God is patient with our weakness. He understands our fears and doubts, yet He meets us with reassurance.

2. God confirms His calling. When He sends us, He provides what we need—evidence, affirmation, and grace to fulfill the mission.

Like Moses, we may feel inadequate. But God equips those He calls, and He provides assurance when faith feels shaky.

*Reflection Questions*

1. Where in my life do I need God’s reassurance right now?

2. Do I trust that if God has called me, He will also equip me?

3. How has God confirmed His word to me in the past?

*Prayer*

Heavenly Father, thank You for being patient with my doubts and fears. Help me to trust that when You call me, You will also equip me. Strengthen my faith with reminders of Your power and Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
