Rain of Judgment and the Rapture August 18,2025 Genesis 6-9,Matthew 24:37-39 Rain as Judgment in Scripture Do you know that rain can symbolize God's judgment and punishment for a wicked generation? In Noah's time, scripture says their wickedness grew continually, their thoughts were continually evil, and the Lord decided to destroy them. Yet, Noah found grace (Genesis 6:8). Rain's Role and the Rapture Rain often comes, and we'd cry if it didn't. For Noah's generation, the first time they saw rain led to a flood that killed them because there was no safe place. Born-again children of God are waiting for the Rapture—a transport system for those who've received Jesus as Lord and Savior. New Earth and Readiness In God's new earth, human movement won't be bound by gravity. The generation of Noah thought Noah was crazy, saying rain hadn't existed before. Have you doubted the Rapture's possibility? If the Lord did it before, He can do it again. May you not regret it in eternity.
