MY POEM ON "GOD'S WILL IS STRONGER YET."

Drive all your force against it,
Launch your fury in full array,
Prepare your assaults to still resist it,
Do what 'ere you may.

Muster your impertinence,
With rebellion's stand, be set,
You will not win this battle,
For God's will is stronger yet.

The world's help shall not avail you,
In alliance to beat your foe,
If God shall be your enemy,
You'll but suffer mortal blow.

Your most heated charge will only,
Be your most deadly, fiery threat,
As you head now for sheer destruction,
Because God's will is stronger yet.

Almighty God is not a weakling,
Who tolerates the slightest sin,
There must be a total reckoning,
When your surrender shall begin.

If you'll ever truly know God's peace,
Then turn around with dire regret,
And lay down the arms of your own will,
For God's will is stronger yet.

Be wise now, stop your fighting,
Against the God who controls your days!
It is His sustain their brevity,
Or to end your wicked ways!

For to each man there is a time of birth,
And an end of life is set,
Repent and cease your foolish war with God,
For God's will is stronger yet.
