MY POEM ON
"THE GREAT HEART SURGEON."

There are heart problems that are present,
That no human doctor can ever heal,
They're not visible to the medic's eye,
But still, they're very real.

A scalpel or a laser,
Are not effective to reach this part,
Where the deepest hurts and anguishes,
Dwell within the heart.

It must take the eye of the very God,
Who created this precious heart,
And placed it within this loved one,
Before their birth would start.

Only God could know the longing,
As this heart beats in distress,
And only God could discern the problem,
And allay it's urgent stress.

The prayer that is unable to express its need,
Is carried in the Holy Spirit's hand,
And taken to the Great Heart Surgeon,
Who shall always understand.

The tears shall not be disregarded,
Nor the pain be never felt,
For Jesus has experienced these same heartaches,
As admist hurting people,
He has dwelt.

If your heart is wracked with woe,
And your hope seems to ever wain,
Lift your voice to the Great Heart Surgeon,
Who understands and heals your pain.
