Love is never an emotional disposition, it's not a product of feeling. It is a choice. Even when you don't feel it, it is a responsibility every believer must carry.

Peter showed Jesus love emotionally by rebuking Him of the cross, but you see Satan took advantage of it. God's showed us that by giving His only begotten son not because we have done something pleasing or worthy, but our God took it upon Himself as a Father responsible for his children regardless of their shortcomings.

Summary; Choose to love, not feel to love. Choices last, while feeling is but for a while, it fades. This is how you build a lasting home and journey with Christ!
