Genesis 1:20-23 First Seven Days- Day 5 NKJV
Genesis 1:20-23 Then God said, "Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens."
So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to its kind and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
And God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth."
So the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
Psalm 8:1-9 O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens!
Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.
When I consider your heavens the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which you have ordained.
What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that you visit him?
For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor.
You have made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; You have put all things under his feet,
All sheep and oxen--Even the beasts of the field,
The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas,
O LORD, our lord, How excellent is your name in all the earth!
Leviticus 11:9-19 'These you may eat of all that are in the water; whatever in the water has fins and scales, whether in the seas or in the rivers--that you may eat.
'But all in the seas or in the rivers that do not have fins and scales, all that move in the water or any living thing which is in the water, they are an abomination to you.
'They shall be an abomination to you; you shall not eat their flesh, but you shall regard their carcasses as an abomination.
'Whatever in the water does not have fins or scales--that shall be an abomination to you.
'And these you shall reward as an abomination among the birds; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination; the eagle, the vulture, the buzzard,
the kite, and the falcon after its kind;
'every raven after its kind,
'the ostrich, the short-eared owl, the sea gull, and the hawk after its kind;
'the little owl, the fisher owl, and the screech owl;
'the white owl, the jackdaw, and the carrion vulture;
'the stork, the heron after its kind, the hoopoe, and the bat.
Psalm 104:24-28 O LORD, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions--
This great and wide sea, In which are innumerable teeming things, Living things both small and great.
There the ships sail about; There is that Leviathan Which You have made to play there.
These all wait for you, That You may give them their food in due season.
What you give them they gather in; You open Your hand, they are filled with good.
Genesis 8:15-19 Then God spoke to Noah, saying,
"Go out of the ark, you and your wife, and your sons and your sons' wives with you.
"Bring out with you every living thing of all flesh that is with you; birds and cattle and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, so that they may abound on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth."
So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him,
Every animal, every creeping thing, every bird, and whatever creeps on the earth, according to their families, went out of the ark.
