Genesis 1:14-19 First Seven Days- Day 4 NKJV

Genesis 1:14-19 Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years.

"and let them be for lights In the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth", and it was so.

Then God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also.

God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth,

and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.

So the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Genesis 1:3-5 Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.

And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.

God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night, So the evening and the morning was the first day.

Psalm 8:1-9 O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens!

Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.

When I consider your heavens the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which you have ordained.

What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that you visit him?

For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor.

You have made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; You have put all things under his feet,

All sheep and oxen--Even the beasts of the field,

The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas,

O LORD, our lord, How excellent is your name in all the earth!

Revelation 21:22-27 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.

and the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.

Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there).

And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.

But they shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, of causes a abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lambs's Book of Life.

Jeremiah 31:35-37 Thus says the LORD, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar (The LORD of hosts is His name);

"If those ordinances depart From before Me, says the LORD, Then the seed of Israel shall also cease From being a nation before me forever."

Thus says the LORD; "If the heaven above can be measured, And the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel For all that they have done, says the LORD.

Jeremiah 33:25-26 "Thus says the LORD; 'If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth,

'then I will cast away the descendants of Jacob and David My servant, so that I will not take any of his descendants to be rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I cause their captives to return, and will have mercy on them.'"
