THEME: JUSTIFIED TO BE GLORIFIED
TEXT: Romans 8 vs 29 - 30
For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 - Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
As a child of God you have been predestinated to be conformed, to made into the image of his son Jesus Christ. This is why it is not how long you have been in Christ but how much you are being transformed to his image. Jesus is the express image of God and radiance of God's glory.
The new life in Christ Jesus is to become an expression of God's image and radiance or manifestation of his glory. The more we are conformed or moulded into the image of God his glory manifests through our lives. You have been Justified in Christ so that you can live a life of glory in him. Many want the glory of God but not transformation into his image, that is his Character, his righteousness and Holiness.
The new life in Christ Jesus is a life of purpose, a life power over sin, sickness and disease. A life of authority over the works of darkness. In this glorified life we have been made to sit with Christ in heavenly places. We are priest and kings unto our God so that we can reign in the earth.
CONFESSION
I know who I am in Christ Jesus, I am made to sit with Christ in heavenly place, I am justified to be glorified in Jesus mighty name AMEN
