Purity And Holiness - Pastor Joseph Clark
“And he said, ‘These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.’”– Revelation 7:14
All too often in this fallen world we feel dirty, guilty, conflicted, and small. We can even feel self-loathing. However, when we were born-again in Christ we are purified and made Holy. Holy means to be set apart. To be dedicated and consecrated to God. You are part of Christ’s kingdom now. You are purified and Holy. When you go to be with the Lord, you will be basking in that purity and holiness without the dirt of this world staining you.
“The nearer anyone is to heaven, the more earnestly he desires to be there, because Christ is there.” – John Owen
Heavenly Father Almighty God, I present myself to you always as your pure and humble servant. I love you Lord and I dedicate myself to you. May I spend the rest of my life pleasing and serving you. In the Holy and most sacred name of Jesus, I pray.
Amen.
