This is from my devotional Bible reading Scripture from James and comments by me.
James 4:13-17 (KJV)
(13) Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
(14)Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
(15)For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
(16)But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
(17)Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
We know that what ever we do we are supposed to pray and let God choose whether or not we are or are not doing what it is we want to do or go where we want to go. Remember we ask and let Him choose we don't just say I'll do that tomorrow or I'll go there tomorrow because we don't know if we will be hit by a vehicle, or die in an accident, or even die suddenly if a brain aneurysm, or even in our sleep. We just don't know what tomorrow will bring. We have to say if its God's will I'll do this tomorrow or go there tomorrow. Please we do not need to worry about tomorrow because tomorrow will take care of its self. So just let God guide your path and He will let you know what your supposed to do.
Matthew 6:34 (KJV) Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
