THE ADVENT TRUTH
AUGUST 22nd

Not even Jesus believes in eternal hell! When we actually read His words, we see the truth:

Matthew 10:28 — Jesus said God can destroy both body and soul in hell. Not torment forever, but destroy.

John 3:16 — He promised believers everlasting life, but warned that the wicked will perish. If everyone already had an immortal soul, that verse would make no sense.

John 11:11–14 — He called death a “sleep,” not a soul floating in heaven or burning in hell.

John 5:28–29 — He taught the dead will rise from the graves at the resurrection — not that they’re already alive somewhere else.

Matthew 13:40 — He said the wicked are burned up like tares, reduced to ashes, not kept alive in endless fire.

Jesus never taught an immortal soul or eternal torment. The choice He presents is clear: eternal life through Him, or eternal death without Him. Eternal life is a gift, not something everyone automatically has (Romans 6:23).

God’s justice is final, not cruel. His mercy offers life — and His judgment ends sin forever.
