YOUR SAFETY IS GUARANTEED IN CHRIST JESUS, ALONE.

Our lives need to be hid in Christ. We need now to be living the faith of the Son of God. Christ, who gave His life for us, can live in us through His word and Spirit and 'transform us by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2)

Ephesians 4:23-24 ...'And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Our safety is not uniting with the various churches. Our safety is not looking to the leaders for teaching and guidance, as we have only one true 'teacher' and Master, and that is our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God (Matthew 23:8, Matthew 16:16).

This is why Paul said for us to 'BEWARE' in Colossians 2. Because the world and the churches are full of 'philosophy' and 'tradition of man', which the majority of people have been deceived by.

Revelation 3:20 ...'Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear MY VOICE, and open the door, I WILL COME IN TO HIM, and will sup with him, and he with me.'

Now the reason why Laodicea (today's churches) are so wretched and sickly, is because the professed people of God have only a "surface knowledge" of the truth.

But they have failed to put that knowledge into a real living and active faith in Jesus Christ. They think they are "rich" through their mere knowledge. But in reality, because their faith is not an active, true regenerating faith, they are wretched and poor, and this condition is utterly repulsive to our Holy God (Rev.3:16).

Without Jesus dwelling in our minds through His Word and Spirit, our religion is dead formalism!

Revelation 3:16 ...'So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

So what must we do to remedy this condition? We must enter into a true personal relationship, by faith, with our Redeemer, so that He can turn our lives from poor and wretched, into righteousness in Him ... Revelation 3:18 ...'I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

This is the only remedy for the sickness of the professed church today. The Lord counsels us to be clothed with His garment (Rev. 3:18), so that when God sees us at the wedding banquet, He sees us through the righteousness of His Son.

The question is, are you wearing the 'white raiment' of Jesus Christ? Are you not only 'waiting' for the Lord's return, but also allowing Christ to dwell in you day by day, through His indwelling word and His Spirit, changing you into His image?

Galatians 2:20 ...'I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Jesus is the ONLY way to the Father and eternal life (John 14:6). He is our truth and our life. So turn your eyes to Him. Fix your attention on Him each and every day.
