The prophetic ministry is not for personal gains nor for extortion. It is to reveal the manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit, exalting Christ and His name, and very importantly, drawing men to Him. As Christ said, "If I be lifted up, I shall draw all men to me."

Pay attention to this testimony, which the person involved has given me permission to share to encourage the faith of others. Yesterday, I was riding my bike to a location when the Holy Spirit asked me to call a certain gentleman to give him a prophetic word: that he should watch his tongue to preserve his life and job, and that the winds would blow and there would be turbulence, but he would escape them.

I just finished talking with him. He recalled that while I was giving the prophetic word, he asked me to repeat it, which is true; I could attest to that. He said he had called the secretary of the firm (withholding the name for personal reasons) and, as I gave the prophecy, he apparently learned that a decision had been taken to fire him and another guy who had erred in the delivery of their duties. However, the fault lay with the other guy, but since he was a supervisor, he was incriminated.

He said that just as I gave the prophecy and prayed with him, and he entered to face the boss, the other guy was fired, but he preserved his job, just as the prophecy was given by the Holy Spirit that he will escape all of those terbulences and winds. Our giftings are to glorify Christ, and He intends to draw men to Himself. I thank God for training me through Kenneth Hagin more than a decade ago through one of his books.
