TUAN GREW UP WITH WITCH DOCTORS
―NOW, HE SHARES THE GOSPEL
Tuan’s life was radically changed by the gospel. Now, he travels everywhere he can to share the Good News.
Tuan was born into a family of fortune-tellers and witch doctors who oversaw spirit worship in their village in Vietnam. He was 14 when he began working among them. Surrounded by spiritual darkness, Tuan was addicted to drugs and alcohol until he came to faith in Christ.
Soon after his life-changing conversion, Tuan began to tell people about the Jesus who gave him not only physical life but also spiritual freedom.
Now a pastor, Tuan is a prolific evangelist, leading hundreds to Christ and praying that God will allow him to reach a greater number each year. He has been a bold evangelist among the Hmong, a minority tribal group, for more than two decades. Often, it is Hmong believers who face the harshest and most violent forms of persecution in Vietnam.
Though Tuan has been denied official government documents because of his refusal to deny Christ, provincial police rarely stop him now because they are tired of arguing with him. Tuan received a motorbike in 2023 and has ridden thousands of miles already as he travels throughout Vietnam with the Good News.
