Someone asked me this Question here on my page : " Is it true that Satan can't read our thoughts? Is it true that he can't know what we are thinking about?"
My answer of course IS LIMITED and necessary incomplete AND I would have to add, takes into account the essential fact that we are ALL LEARNING to be (Now and in Heaven) Worshippers of God in Spirit and in Truth....
"We are Redeemed and purchased FOR God with the precious shed Blood of Jesus Christ. We 100% BELONG to our Almighty God . Our human spirit is HIS. However, we have a body and a soul ( your unique personality ) which will be fought over by the great Liar and Seducer: Satan , until the time when God wraps everything up.
We are in the midst of a Battle which God will WIN of course, but satan will not stop trying to convince you ( and me )and to convince us that God's word is not true.
God IS truth and the scripture declares "Let God be True and every man a liar ( Romans 3 : 4) .
Satan only has a much failed 'one liner': "Has God said ?"
SO, just as he said it in the Garden of Eden and in the wilderness to Jesus when our Savior was fasting and praying for 40 days, satan will try it in whatever way he can to seduce you and me and every redeemed Believer.
Wherever we ALLOW satan to speak : in our minds, through our circumstances; in what we read and watch, in how we act or react - Satan will use all he can ( only with our co-operation ) to draw us away from God and the things of God.
We STILL have free will . We are Bought, but we are NOT slaves such as historical definitions are concerned. We have been ENTRUSTED by God with our minds; , our wills and our bodies AND our thought life.
What you ( and I ) allow into minds and thought patterns is OUR responsibility.
READ Philippians chapter 4 verse 8.
This why we , as good soldiers of Jesus Christ , must exercise discipline and DAILY use the protection which God has provided. God Bless."
