Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.

Our vacation is coming to a close. It has been a fun AND eventful three weeks. Today my husband has another doctor appointment and then us girls are going to town … not sure the town can handle this bunch. We are kind of a wild bunch. Wonder if I can get my new friend to play with me in the toy isle at a store…I know the grands will, but the other Oma … well we will see. Haha.

This weekend is packed with getting the van to go back to the airport on Sunday, packing the bags, and one or two more flea markets. Obviously, in a different order, but with us, you never know what is going to happen.

This vacation has done more than just give me respite from my job. It has brought closeness in my family. It has brought new friends into my circle. It has brought light into the darkness. It has brought opportunity for Him to shine. It has also shown me that there is a bigger plan for me. Personally, I think He might be off his rocker, but I am excited to see what the next chapter of my path entails.

Are there things that happened during this vacation that I could change…yes. Are there things that happened that could have been prevented….yes. Are there reasons that those items happened … yes. Am I thankful … yes. Give thanks in all circumstances.

In the midst of a trauma or situation, sometimes it is hard to see the thankfulness … but if you slow down and really sort through the details, carefully, the importance of thankfulness really does shine. You just have to be willing to see it.

I would like to encourage you to take a few moments today, sit in remembrance, and give thanks to Him for the many blessings that you have received. Look past the chaos and see His peace.

Be blessed today my friends.

***But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. – 2 Corinthians 2:14
