Up late tonight singing & praying over my kids as they sleep.
My oldest, Malachi, turns 13 tomorrow… and I’m reminded that I don’t have many years left of this sacred privilege. Right now, they are in my house and under my protection—physically, spiritually, and in every way I can cover them.
Today, as I watched the horror unfold in Minneapolis, I was unbelievably sobered. I can’t imagine what some of those parents are walking through tonight. We lift them up in prayer.
Parents—would you join me in raising a prayer shield over our kids for the next 30 days as they return to school?
When I joined @realbencarson on the National Call last week, praying over America’s children, I felt the stirring more than ever: this is the year to contend for them in prayer like never before.
Our children are a gift from the Lord (Psalm 127:3). Let’s cover them together. 🏽
