Heavenly Father, we thank You for waking us up to see this blessed Saturday morning. Truly, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24). Lord, we pause at the start of this day to give You all the glory, honor, and praise for keeping us through the week and bringing us into this new day.
Father, we ask for Your guidance in everything we do today. Your Word reminds us, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5–6). Direct our steps, O Lord, and let Your will be done in our lives.
Lord, we pray for Your peace to rest upon us and our loved ones this morning. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee” (Isaiah 26:3). Keep our hearts and minds focused on You, that we may not be shaken by the cares of this world.
Father, we ask that You renew our strength today. Your Word declares, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31). Empower us to walk in faith, courage, and perseverance.
We also lift up our families, friends, and communities. Cover them under the blood of Jesus, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Bless our homes with love, joy, and unity.
Lord, as we go through this Saturday, help us to use it as a day of rest, reflection, and preparation for Your worship tomorrow. Remind us that “the joy of the Lord is our strength” (Nehemiah 8:10), and may Your presence fill every area of our lives.
