CAN’T GIVE UP DANCING.
A young lady in Chicago said to him( D. L. Moody ) "Mr. Moody, I want to be saved, but I can't give up dancing." Mr. Moody preached against worldly dancing. Mr. Moody, being wise, said, "Well, little lady, you just come right into the inquiry room (we'd call it a prayer room) and give your heart and life to the Lord Jesus Christ, and then you can dance all you want to."
She took him at his word, went into the room, and got saved. Four or five days later she met him on the street. She stopped, smiled, shook hands with him and said, "Mr. Moody, I see what you're talking about now. The 'want-to' is gone."
I don't know about you, but I'm "lying" all I want to; I'm "stealing" all I want to; I'm "cussing" all I want to. I'm "hating" all I want to; I'm "hating" everybody I want to hate. No, I'm not hating anybody; there is no hate in me. The "want-to" is gone.
If you're really born again, the man on the inside doesn't want to do wrong.
