1 minute in Titus 1
Do your works deny your relationship with God?
Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Abominable:
"abominable" or it's variants were used 21 times in the book of Leviticus primarily within the context of what should absolutely NOT be eaten because it was seen as exciting disgust or loathing and morally detestable.
And while "abominable" or it's variants were used 176 times in the Bible, this is the only time Paul used the word.
"reprobate" = "rejected as worthless"
It's safe to surmise that Paul was making it clear to those that have ears to hear, that those "that profess that they know God", but deny him in their works are as disgusting and morally detestable as those that eat bugs, slimy eels, dead carcasses or that participate in homosexual acts.
