When you feel sorrow or conviction over sin, do not harden your heart, for it is the work of the Holy Spirit drawing you back to God. Jesus said, “And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment”(John 16:8 KJV).

Conviction is not condemnation but mercy, showing that the Lord has not left you to perish in your sin. The Word declares, “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of” (2 Corinthians 7:10 KJV).

So rejoice when you feel that inner stirring, for it is God’s love calling you to turn, repent, and be restored, that you may walk in holiness and live in His grace.
