Morning, September 3rd
Read ; Acts 13:3
Even though fasting isn't something that many churches do anymore, it is clear that it was a part of the early church. We should pray and fast before big events, whether they are organized by our churches or not. We should ask God for His guidance, power, and direction as we join Him in His work in the world. To my Church family let us prayerfully consider this as we approach the beginning of the Radical Teachings Of Christ this week.
Prayer
I know you love everyone, Lord. Please bless those who are in different cultures than their own, and are trying to share your Gospel in a loving way with people who don't know you. Bless our efforts, keep us safe from the evil one, and lead us in the right direction. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
