Friends, the Bible reminds us in Hebrews 9:27 that “it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” Life is short, and no matter what people may think of us, what really matters is how God sees us. 1 Samuel 16:7 says that man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart. That’s why we shouldn’t live just to please others, but to please God. One day we will stand before Him, and only His judgment will matter. So let’s live each day with a heart that seeks Him, walking in faith and obedience, ready to meet Him anytime.
