A man who has conquered self can fight for anything!

That man is not ruled by pride, anger, or selfish ambition. He has learned to bring his desires under the authority of God. Such a man is a meek person—not a weak person.

Meekness is not cowardice or timidity; it is strength under control. Jesus described Himself as “meek and lowly in heart” (Matthew 11:29), yet He drove out the money changers from the temple with authority. Moses was called the meekest man on earth (Numbers 12:3), yet he stood boldly before Pharaoh to demand Israel’s freedom.

To be meek is to wear the badge of humility and surrender, intentionally choosing God’s will above our own. When we do this, we position ourselves for blessings and promotion. “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:5).

Let us therefore pursue meekness daily. It is the secret to true strength, divine lifting, and lasting victory.
